May 05, 2026 | Event

On 17 April 2026, our new vessel, ๐— ๐—ฉ ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ข๐—ฑ๐˜†๐˜€๐˜€๐—ฒ๐˜† was successfully delivered at Tsuneishi Shipyard in Balamban, Cebu City. This vessel represents a significant milestone between our shipowner, Funada Kaiun Co. Ltd and the shipyard, as it is the 10th ship constructed at the facility - reflecting a strong partnership and mutual trust.

Through the hard work and preparation of our Crewing Operations team, we were able to deploy the crew on board in accordance with the agreed timeline and schedule. The crew were deployed in two batches during the vessel's stay afloat at the shipyard.
The first group joined last 22 March 2026, consisting of the senior management team, namely: Captain Castro, Wilfredo, C/ Officer Bacomo, Anthony, C/ Engineer Salmite, Jimmy and 1st Assistant Engineer Contrano, Ernest Guiller.

The leadership of this Management team reflects the companyโ€™s enduring commitment to professional growth and development. Both Master and 1st Assistant Engineer onboard are the products of the companyโ€™s Cadet Officer Program; Chief Engineer is one of the pioneer crew who has been with the company for 27 years; and the Chief Officer began his career within the company as an Able Seaman.

The second batch joined on 5 April 2026, consisting of officers and ratings who were all ex- crew. Their experience and familiarity with the companyโ€™s policies, procedures, and operational standards ensured continuity, efficiency, and safety of the vessel.

The delivery ceremony was attended by the companyโ€™s top management, including our Chairman Capt Oscar D. Orbeta together with our President Archimedes C. Orbeta, Vice President for Crewing Operation, C/Engineer Nestor G. Alilin and Managing Director Mr. Aristotle C. Orbeta.
Our Management traveled from Manila to Cebu and proceeded to Balamban to attend the ceremony and extend their support and recognition to the crewโ€™s contribution.

The ceremony was also attended by our Shipowners, Funada Kaiun Co. Ltd, our ship managers, Temm Maritime Co. Ltd and other stakeholders in the shipping industry.

Following the completion of the formal ceremonies, ๐— ๐—ฉ ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ข๐—ฑ๐˜†๐˜€๐˜€๐—ฒ๐˜†
